I've always loved cars. Our family cars were drab. A family friend had cars that always had power windows! Childhood memories: Mustangs. A 98 coupe. '70 Cougar. '62 F-85. Lincolns with center-opening doors. Interest in older cars started with a shelf of National Geographics. I loved the car ads. Pushbuttons to shift the transmission! As a teenager, when my peers wanted the smogged-off machines that passed for muscle cars in the 1970's, I wanted luxury! I loved the Lincolns!
